Dinner on the Farm with Kookoolan

A true farm-to-table experience where your meal will be served on the farm where it was grown. Your hosts, Chrissie and Koorosh Zaerpoor, owners of Kookoolan Farms, will guide guests on a farm tour, sharing their experience of building their farm from scratch, from restoring their century-old farmhouse to learning how to drive a tractor, build a fence, raise animals and create a thriving, solar-powered, diversified family farm and meadery. You’ll dine alfresco as the sun sets over the Coast Range, savoring the farms’ bounty. Chef Paul Losch of Ruddick/Wood in Newberg creates his culinary magic with Kookoolan’s produce, grass-fed beef and pasture-raised poultry. Throughout the meal, enjoy a selection of estate and single vineyard wines from Erath, Dundee Hills’ first winery, known for producing elegant Pinot noirs.

Parking is limited at Kookoolan Farms. BOYC will provide a shuttle from Carlton. Shuttle details will be provided in August.

Terrain will be uneven and possibly dusty, so please wear sturdy, flat, comfortable shoes. While the evening may be quite warm to begin, it will cool as the sun sets. Please bring a light sweater or jacket. Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses recommended.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Yamhill Enrichment Society. Thank you for your support! Must be 21 or over.
