New Year's Eve at Ruddick/Wood

To help ring in the New Year, we will be offering a special menu at two later seatings, in addition to regular dinner service early in the night. 

Join us in the dining room at 7:30 or 9:45 for a special four-course dinner.  The cost of the meal is $55 per person with an optional $20 beverage pairing.  The meal will include a glass of celebratory champagne at the finish.  Our regular menu will still be available from 5pm-7pm. 

The menu for the night:


Grilled octopus with baby greens, chiles and cara-cara oranges


Braised leeks with crispy chickpeas, poached egg and olives


Seared foie gras with mustard greens and quince


Beet risotto with chevre, truffles and tarragon


Rabbit saddle with lentils, carrots and grilled mushrooms


Roast sturgeon with root vegetable mash and smoked apple-kale salad


Chocolate bread pudding with cherry ice cream and chocolate sauce


Poached pear with date mousse and pecan shortbread


Also, in the Tavern we will be offering special food items and drinks all night.   The food options will include, but are not limited to:

Oysters on the half shell

Grilled octopus salad

Twice-baked fingerling potatoes with oregon truffles

Foie gras poutine
